My name is Akarsini Hariprana Devi Dasi. I was recently initiated by His Holiness Jayapataka Swami Maharaj during his Vyasa Puja this year. I currently reside in San Jose, California, and was previously connected with Rupanuga Vedic College in Kansas City during my time at Kansas State University.
I feel very blessed to have a connection with Sri Sri Gaur Nitai in Kansas City, Lord Narasimhadeva in Sri Dham Mayapur, and my home deity, Laddu Gopal. They are all my favorite deities. Being in their presence feels very personal and enlivening.
As a neophyte devotee, I sincerely aspire to learn and practice devotional service properly, following the guidance of guru, sadhu, and shastra. I hope to improve my understanding and serve the deities with proper etiquette, minimizing offenses as much as possible.
