Hare Krishna dear devotees,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and his faithful servitors!

I introduce myself as Divya Vrajapriya devi dasi, a fallen disciple of HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaj, originally from Chennai, India - currently residing in Farmington Hills, Michigan, USA. I joined Krishna consciousness after being deeply inspired by reading Srila Prabhupada's books when I was in college. Srila Prabhupada and his faithful servitors in Coimbatore and Bangalore are the reason I started my devotional journey. With respect to services, I like to talk to new people about Krishna consciousness and distribute Srila Prabhupada's books to them.

I have been in Krishna consciousness for well more than a decade but I regret to register here that I do not know the proper regulations for deity worship.

Every place I have lived in so far, I have had the opportunity to stay close to the nearest ISKCON temple; and yet I have not so far paid attention to the details, as well as the right bhava for performing deity worship.

By some divine intervention of the Lord, in 2022, we welcomed our home deities Sri Sri Jagannath Baladev Shubadra and Sri Sri Gaura Nitai; however, I have always been guilty that I am not taking care of Them correctly - both in terms of the grammatical correctness and my lack of love for Them.

When the flyer for this course came, I was very excited that a special course for Home Deity Worship is starting and that I could authoritatively learn the correct way to do acaman, bhoga offering, arati, etc.

Thank you very much for organizing this course, and I pray at the lotus feet of my spiritual master, and all my teachers and senior devotees here that I can be sincere and retain the knowledge you are all going to give me.

Your aspiring servant,

Divya Vrajapriya devi dasi
