My name is Aaradhana Devi Dasi residing in Farmington Hills, Michigan. I was introduced to Krishna consciousness in Atlanta, Georgia in 2014, by my sister and brother-in-law. But I was hell bent to not take this process of Krishna consciousness. When I moved to Houston in 2017, the glance of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai, Sri Sri Radha Nila Madhava and Sri Giriraj changed the trajectory of my life. My first Mangal aarti, to my first initiation to my Bhakti Shastri classes to my inclination to do seva all started at Sri Sri Radha Nilamadhava Dham in Houston. They are undoubtedly I owe everything to.
But since 2018 when I first saw Sri Sri Radha Gopijanavallabha at the temple inauguration and deity welcoming I had a desire to serve them and be in close vicinity of them. They are very very captivating and Lord behold in 2022 I got married to a person who was staying here in Michigan and that too just 3 mins away from temple. They are the most beautiful deities for me and very reciprocative.
Needless to say there are many more but for now my Prannath is Sri Sri Nitai Patitapavan Gaurahari and Sri Sri Radha Gopijanavallabha at New Ekachakra Dham in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
I am a very lazy person who does not understand the indepth meaning of Deity worship and the importance of deities and hence miss performing aartis on a regular basis at home. From this course I hope to develop an attitude of being sincere in my services and also give utmost importance to cleanliness which sometimes due to my ignorance I do not perfom acamana and follow rules and regulations thinking Krishna is Bhavagrahi He will accept . I want to be more sincere.
