Hare Krishna and Pranams,

Thank you very much for this course, it has already been very uplifting and inspiring!

My name is Elin and I am from Sweden, currently living in Alachua.

From this course I wish to gain more confidence in deity worship and some consistency in training for the purpose of deepening my relationship with the lord. I noticed I have many gaps in learning and memory is also a factor. I have forgotten many things, as much of my learning and training was in my early 20’s (which is a long time ago now). By that time, I learned a little bit from one devotee, then from the next and then the next. I never had consistent training, which hope this course can offer. I wish to be able to serve my home deities better.

It is very hard to pick a favorite deity among the deities I’ve had the honor to meet and sometimes serve. I needed some time to think about who my favorite deity is, and I have landed in that it is Dhameswar Mahaprabhu in Nabadwip Dham. I appreciate his playfulness, mercy, warmth, and extraordinary history.

Other deities I’d like to mention are Sri Sri Nitai-Gaura Sundar from my hometown Stockholm, who will always be very dear to me for so many reasons. I also wish to mention Sri Sri Panca-Tattva at Almviks Gård in Sweden, to whom I’ve prayed very strongly in the past, to always take me back if I deviate, and I strongly believe it is due to their mercy I am still here. My home deities, Sri Gaura-Nitai, that has carried me through times of isolation and loneliness. I also have very fond memories of Sri Sri Radha-Kunjabihari and Sri Balaji in Pune, and the shelter they provided when spending time as a student there. And lastly, I offer my gratitude to my current protectors, Sri Sri Radha Shyamasundara and Sri Sri Krishna Balarama in Alachua. I could go on and on, but I think I need to stop here!

I am grateful the course is offered, and I really want to thank the trainers for your service! I understand that there is a lot for you to run this course, and I want you to know I appreciate all that you do for us! Thank you!
