Hare Krishna Dear Devotees,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to Sri Sri Guru and Gauranga.

My name is Divyangi Lalita devi dasi and I am a disciple of H.H. Jayapataka Swami Maharaj.  I am currently in Omaha, Nebraska.

I have quite a few favorite Deities - Sri Sri Radha Madhava Asta Sakhis, Sri Sri Radha Londonisvara, Sri Sri Radha Shyamasundara, Sri Sri Radha Muralidhara at NYC, Sri Sri Krishna Balaram at Sri Vrindavan Dham and New Raman Reti Dham, Alachua, Sri Sri Radha Kalacandji at Dallas and Sri Sri Radharamana.

Though I have been worshiping home deities for many years now, whatever I have learnt has been through the guidance of local devotees and I have not received formal training. Over the years, I also observed that there are minor variations in the worship standards in different congregations. So I would like to learn the proper standard so that I can follow and also share it with the new devotees in our congregation. 

I also feel that I tend to take my home deities for granted, so I wanted to increase the standard and also strengthen my connection with my home deities.

Hare Krishna Divyangi Lalita devi dasi, I can certainly understand you wanting to do things right. That's a good point about being able to teach new devotees how to care for their Deities at home too, I have never received proper training. Hope you enjoy the course and it helps you too.

Hare Krishna Mataji, I do remember you fondly! I’m so glad we crossed paths!

It is so hard to choose a favorite deity indeed. I like you had a hard time choosing.

I also relate to hearing different versions of rules and standards for worship and wanting more clarity.
