Many times, people wonder why so many temples and why so many Deities. The teachings of Krishna consciousness educate us that Krishna has unique relationship with each devotee. And that relationship is personal. In order to deepen that relationship and bring us closer to Him, the all merciful Lord manifests in so many forms at so many places. The multitude of Deity may externally indicate duplicity to an untrained person, but to a devotee, it is that unique love taking a form and manifesting for that devotee alone. Material relationships has beginning and end. They excite and disappoint at lower levels. But Deities and the relationship with Deities is eternal and manifested in a higher dimension.
