My name is Srinivas Balaji Das (Srinivas Cherlamcherla) from Harrisburg, North Carolina, USA. I have been following the ISKCON for the last 15 years.
My favorite Deities are Sri Sri Radha Govinda at the Tirupati Temple, where Srimati Radharani and Her Ashta Sakhis are eternally engaged in loving service to Sri Krishna. To me, this is an incredibly merciful and beautiful form of the Lord.
Learning deity worship helps transform ritual into loving service, discipline into devotion, and daily life into an opportunity to remember and serve Krishna. Therefore, I want to deepen my understanding of deity worship so that I can improve my seva to the Lordships at home. By learning the proper procedures and the spiritual significance of each offering, I hope to serve Them with greater care, reverence, and love.
My ultimate aspiration is to offer everything in the proper mood and manner, strengthen my relationship with Sri Sri Radha Govinda, and cultivate a deeper, more personal connection with the Lord through sincere, devotional service.
